The best of Maison & Objet September 2015

The best of Maison & Objet September 2015

Is is September and if you are working in the interiors and design industry, this month may be the busiest in your calendar. London Design Festival is on later this month from 19th to 27th September with shows such as Decorex, Tent and Design Junction on the schedule. But it all kicked off in beautiful Paris (actually the not so beautiful Parc des Expositions in Villepinte on the outskirts of Paris) with Maison & Objet on Friday 4th September.

MAISON&OBJET is the major event for professionals working in the art of living in all its rich and varied expressions and welcomes exhibitors and visitors from around the world to showcase a high-quality international offer.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the lifestyle show brings together a  varied product offering from decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, the world of children, tableware. You name it - everything!

But be warned, the show is massive! It spans across 8 halls and there is a lot to take in! If you are a first timer and want to see the entire show, make sure you spend at least 2 to 3 days and wear the most comfortable footwear possible. It is also wise to bring a light trolley suitcase to wheel around all the brochures and cards, as you will collect a lot and they will get heavy!

If you are a pro and know what you want to see you can ‘edit’ the show and hop to specific spots or halls, but even that requires comfortable footwear and attention to detail, as there may be unexpected surprises waiting for you.

Of course, we were there and here are our highlights from the show:

Great styling by Mambo Unlimited Ideas. We love the tile painting.
