It is September and this month the beautiful season of autumn officials starts - I find it quite refreshing after a long, sunny and hot summer. Great that everyone is back at work, full of energy, enthusiasm and new ideas after the holidays.
I love the autumn season where the days get shorter and we carefully pack up our summer frocks and bring out the transition wardrobe, that leads us into the cooler period of the year.
September is a very important month for the interiors industry as the new collections are launching and the major tradeshows in Europe, such as Maison & Objet in Paris and Decorex, Tent and Design Junction, which are part of the London Design Festival, are on.
We will be reporting from Maison & Objet later this month showing you our favourite design items for the forthcoming season and we will introduce you to one of my favourite Farrow & Ball paint colours 'Lamproom Grey' and show you how to combine it with colourful furniture and accessories. And as a special treat, we will take you on a journey to my home continent and introduce you to the best boutique hotels in West Africa.
It is also the time to get some inspiration for Christmas shopping (yes it already is!) and we are proud to announce that we will be part of the Spirit of Christmas fair in association with House & Garden in Kensington Olympia beginning of November, where we will offer our eclectic collection including interior accessories, fashion accessories and gifts.
