My Secret to Colourful Living — Revealed
I’m Eva Sonaike, Creative Director and Founder of my London-based interiors and textile studio, where for over 15 years I’ve explored how colour shapes the way we feel in our homes.
My career began in fashion journalism as a TV and magazine correspondent reporting from London, Paris and New York, shaping my understanding of how aesthetics influence mood. Influenced by my West African Yoruba heritage and German upbringing, my perspective blends expressive colour, African patterns and a sense of structure and balance — with colour as my central language.
When I opened my design studio in 2011, I recognised interiors as a lasting way to shape how people feel in their spaces. Today, my design studio is known for colour-rich, design-led interiors and luxury textiles that celebrate warmth, personality and individuality.
My collections are featured in international design publications, used in residential and hospitality spaces worldwide, and developed through collaborations with global design brands.
