Cast your mind away from the January blues and into the The Saguaro hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. We love its bright and beautiful backdrop of rainbow colours, which erase any dull and dreary thoughts. The pomegranate-pink, fiery-orange and lime-green walls are only a few of the 12 brilliant colours, inspired by Arizona’s local desert flowers. Amongst the desert and the town’s choice of dusty beige and sandy colours is quite a bold statement, but makes for a fun and exciting atmosphere. Adorned with contemporary furnishings made from natural materials such as wood and leather that enhance this visual spectrum, creating a comfortable ‘home from home’ quality. A big well done to Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat of Stamberg Aferiat Architecture, a team, known for their bold use of color, for having sheer imagination and creating this haven of colour and awe inspiring design.
