Hello and welcome to our live post from the Spirit of Christmas Fair in London. We are having a great time here, meeting new customers, mingling with other exhibitors and enjoying the yummy food. The feedback to our products is great and our new mini trays and new make-up bags, that we created especially for the show, are selling like hot cakes. We will put them on the website soon.
Our bright green Wewe cushion even made it into the House & Gardens highlights of the show on Monday!
But we are not only here to meet new clients and sell our products, we also take the opportunity to get all our Christmas shopping done under one roof. There are some great new brands I discovered and would like to share with you.
As you may know from my previous blog posts and the Colour Guide, that I am all about colourful interiors. And I love to enhance my space with beautiful smelling candles. One of my favourite candle brands is Epoh Ireti. Specialising in eco-friendly, hand-poured soy wax candles that can be used in your home, as well as on your body (the melted soy makes a great massage oil), the range consist of 6 delicious scents including Green Tea & Lemon, Fresh Linen & Cashmere and Chocolate Oudh.
With winter around the corner, I am very concerned about keeping my skin hydrated in this cold weather. Our stand neighbour Savon Stories, are a lovely Moroccan family of herbalists that make amazing body oils, soaps and cream from unadulterated plants, oils, herbs and whole-foods to craft recipes of raw skin-food. My favourite is their Argon oil for body and hair with a hint of organic lavender and bergamot which smells incredible and deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin.
Another brand that caught my attention was the Labrador Company, whose owner Vicky has a great love for animals, especially dogs. From chocolate shaped labradors to poodle block printed scarfs and baby clothes with cute dog prints, this brand has a great selection for everyone. I thought their labrador arm chair is fantastic and not to mention their quirky animal clocks, definitely on my Christmas wish list this year.
As I was browsing around the show I stumbled across Tina Sparkles' soft tie-dye cashmere scarfs and Jess Collet's colourful hats worn by celebrities such as Madonna and Rita Ora. I love both so much, I had to buy the scarf immediately and the hats are on my Christmas wish list. Both products will definitely make you feel like a million dollars.
A great thing about the Spirit of Christmas Fair is that there is something for everyone. I was pleased to see a children's toy brand which stands out from the crowd. Clockwork Soldier has great gifts for children that love to build things with their own hands as well as great educational board games with a slight retro feel.
With everything selling fast and with great special offers, make sure to visit the show and come and say hello. You can find us on the upper level, stand GH35, just opposite the House & Garden workshop.
