I was really excited when I heard that Marni, one of my favourite fashion labels, signed on as the latest luxury brand to collaborate with High Street retailer H&M. The whole Designer/High Street Collaboration trend started in 2004, with Karl Lagerfeld designing a limited range for the Swedish retailer, followed by Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Victor & Rolf, Jimmy Choo and, of course, last month Versace.

Today is one of those miserable, freezing-cold, grey London days. It is official and I don’t like it: winter has arrived! I was working on an African hotel editorial project over the summer and fell in love with the Coco Ocean Resort in the Gambia.
