Casa Rosada

Casa Rosada, translated, as ‘The Pink House’ is a striking structure, evidently noticed for its flamboyant colour and Italian style. Built fit for a queen, you would think. It is actually homed to the Presidents offices in Argentina. Renovated and restored over the years, its colour was formed due to the political parties dispute of what color to paint the building. One red and one white they decided to compromise and mix the colours together, producing a pink that fits right into our theme this month.
