Tea parties are always a delight and this certainly was the case when Temple Muse, Lagos' premier destination for luxury fashion and lifestyle products hosted us at their flagship store on Saturday 23rd May 2015.
Interior lovers and homeware enthusiasts were invited to the view our ‘Eko Eclipse’ collection at the opening of the Pop-Up Shop and spend the afternoon with me.
Guests were kept toasty on a rainy May afternoon with a selection of fine teas, Pimms, cucumber sandwiches and jammy scones whilst they explored the furnishings on offer.
The ‘Eko Eclipse’ collection features a rich colour palette of subtle blues, warm terracotta and grey and bright yellow, signifying both the heavens and the earth. The collection is tied together with an ongoing ‘adire' pattern, which honors the traditional Yoruba batik technique.
Our African inspired textiles are expertly printed in Germany and used across a range of accessories, including cushions, shopper bags, pouffes, make-up bags and birch-wood trays all of which are hand-made in Britain or Sweden, making each piece a truly global creation.
Also on offer were our newly launched bespoke rugs, which can be made to order in any size and colour in the ‘Eko Eclipse’ designs. The rugs are handwoven in Nepal from 100% New Zealand wool and carry the GoodWeave label - a global non-profit organisation that assures child labour is not used in the manufacturing process of these rugs.
The 'Eko Eclipse' Pop-Up Shop is open until Saturday 13th June 2015. So of you are in Lagos, don't miss it!
