Don’t we all love a bit of pink? What greater year to fully live this soft hue than 2016, as we are officially ‘pink’ this year. Pantone, the world-renowned authority on colour and provider of colour systems announced Rose Quartz as the colours of the year!
Rose Quartz is a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. It carries a soft feminine energy and is believed to have a distinctive calming and soothing effect. When used in interiors, rose quartz brings a feeling of relaxation into the home environment and adds an element of chic and elegance to its surroundings.
We recently exhibited at Maison & Objet in Paris and were excited to see how prominent this colour was across all disciplines. From soft pink wallpaper, to beautifully upholstered furniture, to home accessories and soft furnishings. We love Rose Quartz combined with textures of copper and brass which creates a luxury yet industrial feel.
A trend that is celebrated across furniture, interiors and fashion we can't get enough of it!
As you know our motto here at Eva Sonaike is ‘Bringing Colour to Life’ and especially being lovers of all shades of pink, we are over the moon with this years Pantone colour. Have a look at a few of our favourite interiors that will inspire you as much as it inspired us!
